Bazzario — Executive Summary
Pre-Seed · AED 300K for 10% | July 2026 | Dubai, UAE | Confidential
The Ask: AED 300,000 for 10% equity at AED 3M post-money. Runway to first milestone trigger at ~5.5 months.
1. The Problem
The UAE scooter and bicycle classifieds market — $50–80M annually — runs on Dubizzle and Facebook Marketplace with zero trust infrastructure: no escrow, no verified merchants, no buyer protection. After 18+ years, the trust vacuum is structural. No vertical marketplace exists for these categories anywhere in MENA. Delivery riders replace scooters every 12–18 months, generating concentrated, recurring high-value transactions (AED 2,000–5,000) — all unprotected.
2. The Solution
Bazzario is a 6-layer commerce ecosystem — not just a marketplace. No single UAE competitor offers more than one of these layers:
- Verified Merchant Network — physical shop visits, trade license checks, inventory audits
- Marketplace Payment Protection — marketplace payment protection through a licensed UAE payment provider, subject to regulatory implementation
- Cashback Ecosystem — 5% merchant-funded cashback; Bazzario takes 25% commission on cashback pool; buyer gets 75% as store credit; zero sales commission for merchants
- AI Commerce Tools — battery health checks, condition grading, price estimation, image-to-video, automated listing enhancement
- Physical Merchant Presence — branded partner shops, field team, QR stickers at scooter hotspots
- Aggregation Engine — merchant listing synchronization, inventory aggregation, AI-assisted publishing, and merchant-authorized cross-listing
Phase 1 categories: E-Scooters, Bicycles, Abayas. Abayas tap a $484B global Islamic fashion market with zero structured resale infrastructure.
3. Why Now
Three forces converging:
- AI slashes costs. Listing enhancement, fraud detection, and price estimation that required teams of 20 now run on 2 people + AI. The economics flipped from impossible to attractive in the last 18 months.
- UAE digital acceleration. Government push for digital commerce, instant payments infrastructure (Aani), and 99% smartphone penetration create the rails Bazzario rides on.
- Trust gap widening. Dubizzle's UX has not meaningfully improved trust since 2005. User frustration is widely documented through public reviews, community discussions, and the continued demand for safer marketplace transactions. First-mover window in vertical trust-marketplaces is open — and closing.

5. Business Model
Revenue through cashback commission + subscriptions + sponsored listings. Core transaction engine:
| Transaction Step | Amount |
| Buyer purchases scooter | AED 2,000 |
| Merchant funds 5% cashback pool | AED 100 |
| Bazzario commission (25% of pool) | AED 25 |
| Buyer receives as store credit (75%) | AED 75 |
Merchants pay zero sales commission. Bazzario earns on the cashback spread. Merchant subscriptions are free for Months 1–6, transitioning to paid tiers in M7+. Y1 target: AED 148,100 revenue (500 transactions, AED 1M GMV). Y2 target: AED 891,950 revenue. Total merchants: 170 at M12 (38 paid subscribing). Paid subscribers grow to 74 by M24. Cumulative cash at M24: near break-even (~AED 7K deficit).
6. Current Stage
- Pre-incorporation, pre-product. Incorporation triggered by funding.
- 4 merchants have expressed non-binding interest, subject to formal onboarding
- Broader merchant pipeline identified — additional merchants across scooters, bicycles, and abayas have been qualified and are ready for outreach.
- Investor docs complete: investment memo, financial model, due diligence package, founder profiles, GTM playbook, execution roadmap — all in data room.
- Infrastructure live: domains (bazzario.me, bazaryo.ae), hosting, social handles (@bazzariome) — AED 8,664 invested to date.
